My Tarot Card Love Story
When I was thirty years old, I had the best psychic reading of my life. I was sitting in a cafe and a man by the name of Edgar walked in. He was an Italian man with a beautiful smile. He had this wonderful way about him. He moved with a swagger and he said to me that I looked beautiful. He was sitting all by himself and I decided to join him at his table.
Being he made the first kind gesture towards me, I decided to do the same in return. I walked up to him very casually and said to him, “how are you? What brings you here tonight?” He said to me that he was a tarot card reader and was there to give people psychic readings. He told me that the reading was only five dollars. To my amazement, he was the kind of guy that I could see myself marrying. He was tall, dark and handsome. I told myself that he has a lot of love inside of his heart. He was the kind of guy that I really felt bonded to. I wanted to make it appear that he would be inside of my heart if he truly wanted me. I knew that if he had the same kind of attitude that I did, that we could somehow become better acquainted with one another. I knew that he had these wonderful eyes of passion. I told myself that he must be the kind of person that wants to have love in his life as well.
When he started to read my cards, I told him that he had nice hands. He said to me, thank you. We wound up having a casual conversation about relationships. The night was rainy and so he did not have many clients. However, when we started to talk, he said that he would give me a free psychic reading. He felt the need to tell me what he saw in my life. He told me that he was a man that was looking for love and that I was as well. It is as if he was someone that I had met before in a previous life. I knew inside of my heart that he was someone that I would love to admire both near and far. I knew inside of my hear that if I took my time, I could get to know him a lot better.
It is amazing that after awhile, he told me that I could definitely put my heart and my hands into his. I knew at that moment that he must be the kind of person that tells this to everyone. However, I also knew that he was honest. To make a long story short, he invited me out on a date and we have now been married for over twenty years. It is amazing how love can work in your favor sometimes. I often wonder if I will ever be able to see other experience this same joy as I had.
